TOBY ALDREN

Toby Aldren is proud to be working with Sarona Mynhardt and this wonderful ensemble. Toby has many years’ experience as a choral accompanist. He was the pianist for Richmond Chorus from 2002 to 2020 and for the North Shore Unitarian Church from 2004 to 2019.  Toby is a graduate of the Eastman School Of Music (Rochester, NY), the University of Toronto, and the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Besides music, Toby’s other passion is astrology. Curious about the topic since childhood, his formal studies began in the 1990’s. In 1998, he earned the Certificate from the Faculty Of Astrological Studies (London, UK) and was awarded the Faculty Scholarship for highest exam results. He earned the Faculty Diploma in 2013, an achievement recognized worldwide by the astrological community. Toby now works as a tutor for the Faculty, teaching students around the world in Online Classes, Distance Learning via email, and at their annual Summer School in Oxford.
